· Sorba Freeze ice strips - These specially designed sheets are pre-cooled before being enveloped inside your order. This is to ensure your meat arrives chilled (not frozen). They help keep your meat as fresh as the day it was cut and they can be reused.
· Strong, Insulated Box - Morton's Fine Foods boxes are execptionally strong and are designed to hold large quantities of CHILLED, FRESH MEAT with ease.
· Overnight delivery within 24 hours - Morton's Fine Foods boxes are designed to stay cool for 72 hours, we aim to deliver your meat in 24.
· Recyclable & reusable - Morton's Fine Foods packaging has been designed to be reused or recycled. Our sorba freeze strips can be re-used as injury ice packs if needed. A number of sports people have begun to use the Sorba-Freeze pads as a cold temperature application when they have sustained injuries. The boxes are great for storing items as they are storng and durable.
Your meat purchase is carefully packaged in a 3 step process, cuts are individually vacuum packed and labelled, then placed in an insulated bag with the revolutionary SORBA-FREEZE to ensure its temperature is kept below -5 degrees as required by Food Safety Legislation. The insulated bag is then placed in a conventional card board box (adding a further layer of insulation) before shipping.
The Sorba-Freeze pads have been independently scientifically tested for food safety, absorbency and temperature control capability. They are approved for direct food contact and comply with EEC 90/128 Directive. The pads are environmentally safe and re-usable.
