Pan Fried Paleo Pork Chops and Apples
Ingredients
5 cloves garlic, minced
fresh cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup bone broth - or chicken or beef broth
4 bone-in pork chops
garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt and coarse ground black pepper, to taste
3 organic Gala apples
2 tablespoons grass-fed butter

Directions
- In a large frying pan or cast iron skillet add garlic, cilantro and bone broth over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Season pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt and black pepper on each side and add to the skillet.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until browned, then flip and continue to cook until done. While cooking, spoon some of the garlic broth over the chops.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in another frying pan. Sauté apples over medium-low heat until tender. (While the apples are cooking you may need to reduce the heat on the pork chops so everything finishes at the same time.)
- Transfer the apples to the pork chop skillet and let marinate together for 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Spoon remaining broth over pork chops and serve with apples on top.
...Enjoy! :)
